Kevin Kopczynski has been married to his wife Kimberly since 2013.
Together they have 2 children, a son and daughter, who both are students at Rooted.

A product of Christian education himself, Mr. Kopczynski has a honed appreciation for what can be gleaned from a biblically grounded approach to teaching. Mr. Kopczynski grew up accepting a great deal of what was told him as he was a regular church attender with his parents. He was faithful in applying these concepts, but wasn’t afraid to ask questions once he graduated from a Christian high school. This then began his journey of truly owning his faith.
While many of his classmates began to doubt what it was they learned from the Bible, and even walked away from the faith, Mr. Kopczynski leaned into the character of God and all things practical of his training. Love, acceptance, prayer, and faith became life-giving truths to him and not mere buzz words. His passion for not only verbalizing the gospel, but living it out daily grew. He is not one to shy away from a good conversation about God. He has been known to practically meet people where they are by meeting their needs in very real ways. Ways like giving away money, shoes, and even his own television.
The students of Rooted will learn so much from this passionate educator who deals in real life and how the Bible meets everyday life and everyday people. He has yet to meet someone that he can’t talk to about anything, especially how the gospel and Jesus can change their eternity!
