Mrs. Jennifer mackinnon
Business Manager
Mrs. MacKinnnon is honored to be a founding member of the RCA team! She is married and the proud mother of three grown daughters, all of whom attended Christian schools during their formative years. She and her husband were both raised “non-practicing” Catholics, but when their children were young they found a church home where they also found Jesus.
Mrs. MacKinnon has been involved in Christian education since her children were young- beginning as a volunteer and school board member for the Christian school where her children were enrolled. Once the youngest was in school, she started working part-time in the school office and eventually became the assistant to the Head of School.
All of these experiences have equipped her to fill an invaluable role as Rooted’s Business Manager,
a title that only scratches the surface of all she does.
Although her childhood career goal was to be a stay-at-home mom, she realized that she enjoys being a
life-long learner. She plans to always continue her informal education in ways such as
Hillsdale’s online classes and PragerU, because she is especially passionate about history.
She finds it such a comfort and blessing to know that God created the world and He is and has always been in control. Like so many others, the Lord has led her through countless trials of life and she is grateful to be saved and redeemed. Her favorite Bible verse, Colossians 3:23, reminds her that in all circumstances, whatever you do, do it with all your heart.
